Mission: The mission of Healthy Seniors of Steele County is to provide the best possible service to seniors and caregivers, to empower them to remain living happy, safe and independent in their own homes. Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to carry out good neighbor acts of kindness to support seniors and caregivers through out Steele County.
Vision: A community that recognizes the needs of elders and caregivers and meets those needs neighbor to neighbor
Who We Serve: Steele County seniors 65 and older: support family members of Steele County residents.
In each community throughout Steele County, adult volunteers are recruited and trained. As part of the vision of Healthy Seniors, we see the individual having the option of being surrounded by family, friends and community, rather than by an institution.
Services: Healthy Seniors will attempt to make available any service necessary to assist an elder to remain in their home in safety and with quality life.
