Owatonna Business Women

 The purpose of OBW is to educate its members regarding topics of interest relating to the

 personal growth, professional development, and political awareness of issues relating to 

 women and to award annual scholarships for the post secondary education of women.

 Objectives of OBW:

  To elevate the standards of women in business and in their professions;

  To promote the interests of business and professional women;

  To bring about a spirit of cooperation among business and professional women;

  To extend opportunities to business and professional women through educational

     programs;

  To recognize the accomplishments of women in Steele County.

 Charitable and Educational:

  OBW is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning

 of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future 

 federal tax code, or such other provisions of Minnesota or federal law as may from time to

 time be applicable, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to 

 organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under said section 501 (c)(3). OBW 

 shall not be operated for profit, but shall be operated exclusively for charitable and

 educational purposes.

 Owatonna Business Women is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
