SeniorPlace is a subdivision of the Owatonna Park and Recreation Department of the City of Owatonna.

Come and visit SeniorPlace....Owatonna SeniorPlace is a place for leisure and recreational pursuits for adults over 50 years of age. We are located on the West Hills Campus off of State Ave.

SeniorPlace has become a 'One-Stop Shop' for seniors with Healthy Seniors of Steele County, Semcac Senior Dining, Mobility Meals and of course SeniorPlace all under one roof.

SeniorPlace offers cards, games, billiards, exercise/health and wellness, dancing and singing, travel, sports and leisure activities, arts and crafts, educational programs from computer classes, AARP driver safety to Alzheimer's care consultations to enrichment and of course friendship, fun and belonging.

MISSION

The mission of the Owatonna SeniorPlace is to involve, enrich and empower adults 50 years of age or better to live as independently as possible in our communities.

We do this by promoting the wellness of adults 50 years of age or better through recreational, educational and social opportunities as well as being a referral source for services available within our service area. Activities and programming of the center emphasize creating and maintaining independence in all phases of life. 

VISION

It is our vision that we become an indispensable assets to boomers, seniors and our community by offering programs and services that enable boomers and seniors to live healthy and meaningful lives in their own homes within their community.

2012: $35 per person (January—December) 

Note: If you belong to another Senior Center, cost is $30 per person
